The School of Figurative Art was founded with the purpose of equipping students
with the tools required for representational painting.
The program enables its students to reach a very high technical level in this style.
The guiding philosophy ascribes supreme importance to the direct observation
of nature and its description in painting.
The school operates in a spacious studio with a window that provides steady natural northern light.
It includes a coffee corner and a library, where students meet in the course of the day.
The students work uninterrupted from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, engaging in painting and
drawing still lifes, classic sculpture, live models and portraits.
The curriculum is designed in stages, so that the learners progress at the right pace
for each individual, moving from one stage to the next as they are ready.
The exercises are built in sequence, with the aim of learning to create representational art.
Attention is placed on learning and understanding all essential stages, from a quick sketch
to the finished painting.

the gallery is open
after long months of hard work, the gallery finnaly opens its doors!
there are more tnen 40 paintings, a lot very new, that hangs over the walls.
it'll be open all the week of Pesach, and to be continued on the weekends.

For committed artists and more advanc
ed students, we offer a two-year
program with courses that meet five
days per week, providing students with
the opportunity, instruction, ongoing critiques
and environment to achieve advanced
technical skills, keenly-refined powers
of observation, and a rewarding degree of mastery.
