The School runs intensive landscape painting courses (in workshop format) during the year, lasting from one to three days, with the aim of enriching the study program and encouraging the development of additional painting skills.

The open yet varied landscape presents us with the opportunity of coping with a range of subjects, such as drawing, composition, movement, relative light and dark, shades of color etc.

The Galilee’s spectacular scenery, the valleys and streams, the numerous beauty spots offer an enormous selection of sites for landscape painting.

The landscape painting workshops take place at varying frequency, according to season - and the weather!

In spring, we find the mountains flowering with a wealth of colors. The greenery, painting itself with an amazing variety of tones, and the valley viewed from above, can only serve to enhance the creative experience.

In summer, we mainly search out shady areas near the Hatzbani, Dan or Banias rivers and enjoy painting small waterfalls and really inspiring beauty spots. Pools of water and babbling streams, plants and vegetation in unending variations, clinging to mountain rocks, sprouting lushly in fertile soil -all beckon us to return to them time after time.

Beyt Ussishkin, Tel Kadesh, The Sheik’s Tomb, the Banias nature reserves together with Har Tzfiyya above Metulla, are amongst the wonderful sites the Galilee offers landscape painters.
