The Studio is surrounded by lawns, with north-facing windows allowing a full day’s work in natural daylight. During the winter, the snowy slopes of Mount Hermon can be seen through the windows or from around the Studio building: as they vary with the seasons, the mountain’s colors create an ever-changing landscape.
The Studio itself is heated and/or air-conditioned, featuring a coffee corner, toilet facilities, a covered porch, and the luxury of extensive lawns for all to enjoy on sunny days.
Fifteen students can be comfortably accommodated in the Studio, working either independently or with a live model.
Works yet to be completed are usually hung in the Studio, enabling students to follow the progress of those studying in other groups.
The Studio is open for a small fee on Wednesday evenings, without tuition, to all those interested in live model drawing and painting - accompanied by good music, cake and wine!
